Launching a brand new winery in an established region is a big undertaking. How do you get the world excited about your business when it’s still a work in progress? We were happy to tackle this problem with Lightfoot & Wolfville Wines – and we started by showcasing their beautiful story with an award-winning website.
Attention to detail
We helped Lightfoot & Wolfville’s premium brand come to life online using a one-page, fluid, slide-scrolling website that guides audiences through the Lightfoot & Wolfville story. Their biodynamic practices inspired us to create an interactive, “living” website, with pulsing elements to indicate image captions, location coordinates, an audio message and an expanding wine fact card. With special consideration for Lightfoot & Wolfville’s culture, we created a uniquely beautiful logo-explosion effect to highlight the different aspects of its heritage.

We interviewed the Lightfoot & Wolfville team to extract their story and create compelling, romantic content that made audiences lean in. Since we launched the website in 2014, we’ve added further pages for their wines, a press kit and a blog.
Once the website launched, we continued to work with Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards as an extension of their in-house marketing team, helping with a huge range of services: press kit development, blogging, photography, email marketing and print design.
We have designed many stunning marketing materials for this client, but our favourites were created to promote Lightfoot & Wolfville’s award-winning wedding package at bridal trade shows at what is sure to be one of the most sought-after venues in the Annapolis Valley.
