Looking out for a hero

The Able Sense team developed a homepage feature that provides the Cougar Shoes team complete flexibility in adjusting their hero images and multiple text sections along the x and y-axis. This gave them a fully customized solution that gives their brand operators great flexibility and fits with their brand element of ‘floating text,’ while following responsive best practices.

Colour, pattern and choice... by design

Cougar Shoe’s impressive range of shoes, boots and slippers come in many beautiful colours, so the Able Sense team developed a way to filter the product detail pages (PDPs) so that the customer only sees images of the colour variant or option they select. The team also provided the Cougar Shoes team the flexibility to create their own Colour Swatch hierarchy on the collection’s faceted navigation. Armed with this, they can easily upload colours and swatches when new products and variants are rolled out. Additionally, since not all products come in solid colours we created a custom Pattern Swatch that lets their merchandising team upload an image of the pattern to a swatch as well.

Social proof gets future-proofed

We built a fully customized Influencer section, which allows the Cougar Shoes team to showcase their products through their customers’ eyes, via influencers posts. The team now has the flexibility to upload and showcase social proof on individual products. Cougar’s history of innovation, and their ongoing commitment to quality have empowered their brand to stand the test of time. Now, with their new Shopify Plus website, the Able Sense team has given them a flexible, responsive site that is easy to browse and buy, and easy for the Cougar team to manage.
