Super Butcher is an Australian meat company owned by a family with five generations of Queensland graziers. There are five brick-and-mortar locations as well as a successful online store. Their experience and long history in the industry has shown them that it’s possible to sell great quality products affordably while paying farmers fairly; furthermore, they work only with farmers that take care of the environment and the land, and look after their animals properly.
We asked Jaden Hassan, Super Butcher’s Marketing Coordinator about their ecommerce experience.
We had a series of brick-and-mortar stores but as we sell fresh product, our reach was always limited. When the need to take our butcher shop online arose, we knew we had to have great procedures and easy methods of booking our deliveries – especially as we deliver within 24 hours of an order!

What’s your number one tip for other Shopify store owners?
Make your procedures tight! If a baby can do it, anyone can do it – that sort of foolproofing is essential to run a tight ship and encourage repeat customers while eliminating mistakes.
